The initial AMD release will comprise of two graphics cards: the ATI Radeon HD 5870 and ATI Radeon HD 5850, each one having 1GB GDDR5 memory as well as featuring technologies such as ATI Eyefinity multi-display, ATI Stream technology and of course being DirectX 11 compliant. The ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series cards support both DirectX and OpenCL and are designed especially with gamers in mind, with games such as DiRT 2, Aliens vs. Predator, The Lord of the Rings Online or Dungeons and Dragons Online being a few of the titles that support DirectX 11 and work wonderfully with the ATI Radeon HD 5800 series.
